ECAASU 2012.

Being at ECAASU (East Coast Asian American Student Union) held in Durham, Duke University North Carolina helped me realize my own Asian identity.  It not only helped me on that, but helped me grow to love my own culture more than I already did, it helped me realize what struggles we had taken for the many years we have settled here. This conference had so many inspirational key speakers which influenced me to step out in my community as an Asian American.  

Even more that I appreciated was the closeness I feel with ASA. It not only is a club but a close relationship.  I feel so at ease to know that people care about me and my situation.  They listen and give advice. <3

I say to all. 

To be reminded & taught of our struggle is like the elixir to the poison of stereotype & racism of asian amer. struggle
